Shipping Policy

Processing Time

All of our products are handmade with care by a single craftsman. Because each belt is crafted from repurposed climbing ropes and depends on stock, please allow 2-14 business days for your order to be made and prepared for shipping. During my off-season (June-August) or high-demand periods, processing times may be longer. I appreciate your patience and understanding as I work to ensure each product meets high-quality standards.

Shipping Timeframes

Once your order has been completed, shipping times will depend on your location but will usually be within 3-10 business days

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and a fixed price. Depending on promotions, free shipping may be offered for orders over a certain amount.

Delays and Issues

Since Second Ascent Ropes is a one-person business, occasional delays may occur due to workload, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances. If your order takes longer than expected, I’ll reach out with updates. If you have any questions about your order status, please contact me directly at secondascentropes@gmail.com.

Returns and Exchanges

I cannot accept returns unless the product arrives damaged or defective. If there is an issue with your order, please contact me within 14 days of delivery, and I’ll be happy to find a solution.

Second Ascent Ropes was founded by Carter Watsabaugh, a University of Wyoming student with a deep passion for the outdoors and sustainability. Second Ascent Ropes transforms retired climbing ropes into stylish, eco-conscious belts—each piece capturing the spirit of adventure and the ingenuity of upcycling. Carter’s work not only breathes new life into climbing gear but also sends a clear message about environmental responsibility and innovation.

Through Second Ascent Ropes, Carter invites you to join a movement that celebrates the fusion of adventure, creativity, and sustainability. Every piece is more than just an accessory; it’s a testament to the power of reimagining the old to create something new, meaningful, and enduring.
